BBIX Thailand Launches New IX Point “BBIX Bangkok No.2 Center” at National Telecom’s Data Center

BBIX (Thailand) Company Limited (BBIX Thailand) a joint venture of True Internet Data Center Co., Ltd. (True IDC) and BBIX, Inc. (BBIX) will open “BBIX Bangkok No.2 Center” in CAT Tower BangRak Data Center in National Telecom Public Company Limited (National Telecom) to provide “IX (Internet Exchange) Service” from June 2021.

Following installation in “BBIX Bangkok No.1 Center” (True IDC North Muang Thong), by installing “BBIX Bangkok No.2 Center” in the Data Center of National Telecom, more content service providers and internet service providers in Thailand will be able to use BBIX services more easily.

Mr. Hidetoshi Ikeda, Representative Director, BBIX Thailand said: “We are extremely glad to be able to establish BBIX Thailand’s node in the CAT Tower BangRak Data Center provided by National Telecom. With the increased spread of cloud services and faster access lines, the interconnection of Internet operators is becoming increasingly important. In Thailand, by pro-actively providing IX services, BBIX Thailand will realize efficient connections between service users and, raise Thailand’s profile and more firmly establish Bangkok as the data hub of the South East Asia Region.
